Two Simple Steps to English Fluency
There is usually an easy way and a hard way to achieve anything in life and learning to speak fluent English is no exception. True proficiency is identified by an ability to use the acquired language in an effective and accurate manner at a level similar to that of a native speaker.
However, it is not actually necessary to reach C2 (Advanced) in order to be able to communicate effectively, accurately and fluently in English. To fully understand this all you have to do is read a text at B2 (Intermediate) level and imagine yourself being able to speak that exact language!
If you are reading this in English imagine being able to communicate at this same language level when you speak.
The fact that you can read English confirms that you already possess significant knowledge of the English language. This is your most precious resource right now and I will show you how to transform any existing knowledge of English into practical skills.
If your level is intermediate my advice is that you should concentrate on developing your speaking and listening skills to the same level as your reading and writing skills before you try to learn more complex language.
Step No.1 – Know that if you dedicate 90% of the time you invest in improving your English on speaking and listening (instead of grammar only), you will not only be delighted with your progress, you will continue to be extremely motivated to make pratising English part of your daily routine.
Step No.2 – Know that if you want to learn to speak English you will need to become an expert at forming sentences (which is actually quite simple to do when you understand how the English language works).
